About the Chery Fulwin 2
The Chery Fulwin 2, also known as the A13, debuted at the 2008 Beijing Auto Show as a successor to the Seat Toledo-based original Fulwin. Designed by the Italian firm Torino Design, it featured a 'whale-inspired' styling language that was significantly more modern than its predecessor. It was powered by Chery's self-developed 1.5-litre ACTECO engine, which was engineered in collaboration with the Austrian firm AVL. While it offered a high level of standard equipment for its price point, it was often criticised for its lacklustre driving dynamics and inconsistent build quality compared to international rivals.
