About the Cadillac ATS
The Cadillac ATS was developed on the Alpha platform with a specific mission to out-handle the BMW 3 Series, featuring a near 50/50 weight distribution and extensive testing at the Nürburgring. The 2.0-litre turbocharged variant was the enthusiast's choice for its available six-speed manual transmission and lighter front end compared to the V6 model. While the interior materials were a step up for Cadillac, the model was often criticised for its small boot and the initial 'CUE' infotainment system. It remains a respected driver's car in the used market due to its sharp steering and composed chassis.
