About the Bugatti Bolide
The Bugatti Bolide is a track-only hypercar that represents the final, most extreme application of the legendary 8.0-litre W16 engine. Stripped of the luxury and road-legal requirements of the Chiron, it features a bespoke carbon-fibre monocoque developed with Dallara and an X-shaped design language inspired by experimental aircraft. While the 2020 concept promised 1,850 PS on race fuel, the production version delivers a consistent 1,600 PS on 98 RON petrol, paired with a lightweight 1,450 kg frame. It generates nearly three tonnes of downforce at speed, utilizing a 'morphable' roof scoop to optimize airflow and achieve cornering forces up to 2.5G.
