About the Bugatti Type 35

The Type 35 debuted at the 1924 French Grand Prix and evolved into one of motor racing's most successful families. This entry represents the naturally aspirated 2.0-litre Type 35 rather than the supercharged 35C or larger-engined 35B. Its cast-aluminium wheels with integral brake drums and hollow front axle reduced unsprung weight, helping give the car agile handling. Originality and documented racing history have an enormous effect on prices; modern recreations are not equivalent to original cars.
