About the BMW X7 G07
The BMW X7 (G07) was introduced as the brand's first true full-sized luxury SUV, designed to compete directly with the Mercedes-Benz GLS and Range Rover. The xDrive40d variant, introduced in 2020, features a sophisticated B57 straight-six diesel engine equipped with multi-stage turbocharging and 48V mild-hybrid technology for improved efficiency and low-end response. M Sport trim adds more aggressive exterior styling, larger wheels, and a sportier interior finish to the cavernous cabin. Despite its significant mass, the X7 is noted for its surprising agility and exceptional refinement, aided by standard two-axle air suspension.
