About the BMW M760Li G11
The M760Li xDrive arrived in 2016 as the first M Performance variant of the 7 Series, effectively serving as the long-awaited factory alternative to an M7. It is powered by the N74 V12, a massive 6.6-litre unit shared in architecture with Rolls-Royce powerplants, delivering effortless, locomotive-like acceleration. The G11 generation utilised a 'Carbon Core' chassis, integrating carbon-fibre reinforced plastic with aluminium and steel to reduce weight and lower the centre of gravity. Despite its size, the M760Li features rear-biased all-wheel drive and active roll stabilisation, making it surprisingly agile for a two-tonne luxury limousine.
