About the BMW 128ti F40
The 128ti is a driver-focused variant of the F40 1 Series, positioned to bridge the gap between the 120i and the all-wheel-drive M135i. It revives the 'ti' (Turismo Internazionale) suffix last seen on the E46 Compact, ditching xDrive for a lighter front-wheel-drive setup and a Torsen limited-slip differential. The chassis features a 10mm lower M Sport suspension with firmer springs and dampers, alongside the steering rack and brakes from the M135i. Distinctive red accents on the air intakes and side skirts, along with 'ti' decals, distinguish it from the standard M Sport models.
