About the Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GT 105
The Giulia Sprint GT was the first of the legendary 105-series coupés, designed by a young Giorgetto Giugiaro for Bertone. It is distinguished by its 'scalino' or step-nose front end, where the leading edge of the bonnet sits slightly above the grille. Powered by the celebrated all-alloy twin-cam engine, it offered sophisticated mechanicals including a five-speed gearbox and four-wheel disc brakes, which were rare for the era. Its balanced handling and rev-happy engine made it a benchmark for small sports saloons and a favourite for amateur racers.
