About the Volvo V60 Mk1
The first-generation Volvo V60 marked a shift for the Swedish brand, prioritising 'dynamic' styling over the boxy utility of its predecessors. The 2014 model year introduced the significant 'Drive-E' engine family, replacing the older five-cylinder units with a highly efficient 2.0-litre four-cylinder diesel in the D4 trim. The SE specification offered a balanced middle ground in the range, featuring leather upholstery and cruise control. While it lacks the outright cargo capacity of the larger V70, it provides a more engaging driving experience and class-leading seat comfort.
