About the Volkswagen Tayron
The Volkswagen Tayron debuts for the 2025 model year as the successor to the Tiguan Allspace, positioned between the standard Tiguan and the flagship Touareg. Built on the MQB Evo platform, it offers a significantly longer wheelbase than the standard Tiguan, allowing for a spacious seven-seat configuration or a massive 885-litre boot in five-seat mode. The 2.0 TDI variant provides a balance of long-distance efficiency and towing capability, featuring the latest 'twin-dosing' SCR technology to minimise emissions. It serves as a more premium, tech-focused alternative to the Skoda Kodiaq, sharing its sophisticated adaptive chassis control (DCC Pro) and MIB4 infotainment system.
