About the Volkswagen ID.3

Launched in 2020, the ID.3 marked a pivotal shift for Volkswagen as its first dedicated battery-electric vehicle built on the modular MEB platform. The Pro Performance trim serves as the core of the range, balancing a 58kWh battery with a punchy rear-mounted motor that delivers a driving experience reminiscent of a rear-wheel-drive hot hatch. While early models faced criticism for software glitches and interior material quality, the ID.3 is praised for its tight turning circle, spacious cabin, and refined ride. It represents the 'third chapter' of Volkswagen history, following the Beetle and the Golf.
