About the Vauxhall Corsa VXR E
The Corsa VXR (Generation E) arrived in 2015 as a more refined but no less aggressive successor to the Corsa D. It retained the 1.6-litre turbocharged engine but introduced Koni Frequency Selective Damping as standard, significantly improving its composure on British B-roads. Inside, the cabin is dominated by deep-sided Recaro bucket seats, while the exterior features a signature bonnet scoop and twin Remus exhaust outlets. Though it faced stiff competition from the Ford Fiesta ST, the VXR remained a favourite for those seeking a more raw, old-school hot hatch experience with a punchy overboost function.
