About the TVR Chimaera

The Chimaera was designed as the more approachable, long-distance touring counterpart to the aggressive Griffith. Built on a version of the Griffith chassis but with a longer wheelbase and softer suspension, it offered a larger boot and a more practical cabin. The 4.0-litre Rover-derived V8 provides a distinctive soundtrack and effortless torque, making it a quintessential British sports car of the 1990s. Despite its grand touring intentions, the lack of electronic driver aids like ABS or traction control ensures a raw and engaging driving experience.
