About the Toyota TF108
Launched at the team's Cologne factory in January 2008, the TF108 was not an evolution of the TF107 but was developed from the 2006 TF106, with a longer wheelbase and an all-new aerodynamic package. It borrowed a McLaren-style bridge front wing, moved its mirrors outboard and concentrated on cleaning up the airflow around its zero-keel front suspension. Jarno Trulli scored points in 10 of the 18 races, with third in France his best, while Timo Glock finished second in Hungary. Toyota ended the year with 56 points and kept both drivers for 2009.
