About the Toyota TF103
The TF103 was Toyota's 2003 car, a chassis by Gustav Brunner and René Hilhorst paired with Luca Marmorini's RVX-03 V10. The team called it a logical evolution of the TF102, lighter and with more downforce, while the new engine was both lighter and more powerful than its predecessor. Olivier Panis and reigning CART champion Cristiano da Matta scored 16 points between them, with da Matta outscoring Panis 10 to 6, and Toyota finished eighth in the Constructors' Championship.
