About the Spyker C8 Aileron
The Spyker C8 Aileron represents the second generation of the Dutch marque's flagship, featuring a longer wheelbase and a more refined, turbine-inspired design compared to the original propeller-themed Spyder. Hand-assembled in Zeewolde, it retains the brand's signature aeronautical details, including the exposed gear linkage and a machine-turned aluminium dashboard. While the Audi-sourced 4.2-litre V8 provides reliable performance, the Aileron is primarily a collector's piece of rolling art, prized for its unique aesthetic and extreme rarity. Its all-aluminium spaceframe and Lotus-tuned suspension offer a more composed grand touring experience than its predecessor.
