About the Renault Zoe
The third-generation Renault Zoe, introduced in 2019, represented a significant leap forward for the pioneering electric supermini. The R135 variant features a more powerful 100kW motor and a 52kWh battery, providing a competitive WLTP range of up to 238 miles. While it retains the familiar silhouette of its predecessors, the interior was completely overhauled with higher-quality materials and a 10-inch digital instrument cluster. It remains a benchmark for urban EVs, though its safety rating was famously downgraded to zero stars by Euro NCAP in 2021 due to aging architecture and side airbag changes.
