About the Nissan Z Nismo

The Nissan Z Nismo represents the most focused iteration of the RZ34 generation, distinguished by its 'Grand-Nose' front end that pays homage to the 240ZG. Engineers increased boost pressure and revised the ignition timing to extract an additional 20 hp from the VR30DDTT engine, while the chassis received significant stiffening and Nismo-tuned suspension. Initially launched exclusively with a nine-speed automatic transmission featuring revised clutch packs for faster shifts, it prioritises track performance over the standard car's grand touring nature. Aerodynamic enhancements, including a three-piece rear spoiler and wider RAYS wheels, provide functional downforce and improved mechanical grip.
