About the Nissan Micra K14
The fifth-generation Nissan Micra (K14) marked a radical departure from its predecessors, ditching the 'bubble' styling for a sharp, aggressive design shared with the Renault Clio. Introduced in late 2018 for the 2019 model year, the 1.0-litre IG-T engine replaced the older 0.9-litre unit, offering improved refinement and a useful torque boost. Built in France alongside the Clio, it features a much higher-quality interior than previous Micras, including an optional Bose Personal audio system with speakers integrated into the driver's headrest. While it lacks the ultimate driving dynamics of a Ford Fiesta, its combination of safety tech and distinctive looks made it a strong contender in the B-segment.
