About the Nissan Almera Tino

Launched in 2000 to compete in the burgeoning mini-MPV segment, the Almera Tino was based on the MS platform shared with the standard Almera hatchback. It was designed to offer a more upright, spacious alternative to the traditional family car, featuring a high roofline and a versatile interior with removable rear seats. The 1.8-litre QG18DE engine provided adequate performance for urban duties, though it was often overshadowed by more innovative rivals like the Renault Scénic. Despite its practical nature and Nissan's reputation for reliability, it never achieved the same market dominance as its competitors.
