About the Nissan Almera N15
Launched in 1995 as the successor to the long-running Sunny, the N15-generation Almera was Nissan's dedicated attempt to capture the European C-segment. While mechanically similar to the Japanese Pulsar, it featured a multi-link beam rear suspension designed to provide a balance of ride comfort and predictable handling. The 1.4-litre GX was a mid-range trim, offering a blend of economy and basic comforts that made it a staple of UK suburban roads. Though often overshadowed by the more exciting GTi variant, the standard N15 is remembered for its exceptional reliability and robust build quality.
