About the Mercedes-AMG GT R C190
Developed extensively at the Nürburgring Nordschleife, the AMG GT R (C190) represents the most track-focused iteration of the first-generation AMG GT before the arrival of the Black Series. It features a significantly wider track, active underbody aerodynamics, and a nine-stage traction control system derived from the GT3 race car. The dry-sump M178 V8 is pushed to 577 hp, paired with a rear-mounted transaxle for near-perfect weight distribution. Its distinctive 'Panamericana' grille and optional 'Green Hell Magno' paint pay homage to Mercedes' racing heritage and its development home.
