About the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupé X290
The Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S 4-Door Coupé (X290) was developed entirely by AMG to offer a more practical alternative to the two-door GT while outperforming the E 63 S. It features a highly tuned version of the M177 4.0-litre V8, producing 630 hp and a massive 900 Nm of torque, delivered through a sophisticated 4MATIC+ system with a dedicated Drift Mode. Despite its 2.1-tonne weight, the car's active rear-wheel steering and multi-chamber air suspension provide agility that rivals dedicated sports cars. It remains one of the fastest four-door production cars to ever lap the Nürburgring Nordschleife.
