About the Maxus D90

Launched in 2017 by SAIC Motor, the Maxus D90 represents a significant step for the brand into the full-size SUV segment. Built on a rugged ladder-frame chassis shared with the T60 pick-up, it was designed to compete with established rivals like the Toyota Fortuner and Ford Everest. The 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine provides adequate power for its substantial size, while the interior offers a surprisingly modern 12.3-inch infotainment suite. Though primarily sold in China and emerging markets, it gained international recognition under the LDV and MG badges.
