About the Lincoln Mark LT
The Lincoln Mark LT was the brand's second attempt at a luxury pickup, following the short-lived Blackwood. Based on the eleventh-generation Ford F-150, it traded the Blackwood's impractical trunk-like bed for a functional 5.5-foot box while adding a signature Lincoln waterfall grille and generous chrome accents. Inside, it featured upgraded leather and wood trim to mimic the Navigator SUV experience. Though it was discontinued in the US after 2008 due to slow sales, it remained a best-seller in Mexico, where a second generation was produced until 2014.

Lincoln Mark LT fun facts
- The Mark LT was so successful in Mexico that Lincoln developed a second generation exclusively for that market after it was axed in the United States.
- Unlike its predecessor, the Blackwood, the Mark LT was available with optional four-wheel drive, making it a much more practical proposition for truck buyers.
- The model was eventually replaced in the US lineup by the Ford F-150 Platinum, which successfully captured the luxury truck market Lincoln had pioneered.
