About the Lancia Zeta
The Lancia Zeta was the premium entry in the 'Eurovan' project, a joint venture between Fiat and PSA that also produced the Peugeot 806, Citroën Evasion, and Fiat Ulysse. Positioned as the most upscale variant, it featured a distinct Lancia grille, Alcantara upholstery as standard, and a more limited range of high-output engines. The 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, sourced from PSA, provided surprisingly brisk performance for a mid-90s MPV. Despite its luxury aspirations and sliding doors, it remained a rare sight outside of Italy, with production totals significantly lower than its more mainstream siblings.

Lancia Zeta fun facts
- The Zeta was the only Eurovan not offered with a base naturally aspirated engine at launch, reinforcing its premium positioning.
- Total production reached just over 22,000 units, making it far rarer than the Peugeot 806 or Citroën Evasion which each saw over 120,000 units built.
- The interior featured a dash-mounted gear lever, a novel design choice at the time that allowed for a completely flat floor between the front seats.
