About the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ
Unveiled at the 2018 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, the SVJ (Super Veloce Jota) represents the most track-focused evolution of the Aventador platform. It famously reclaimed the production car lap record at the Nürburgring Nordschleife with a time of 6:44.97, thanks to the debut of ALA 2.0 active aerodynamics. The 6.5-litre V12 was tuned to 770 PS, making it the most powerful naturally aspirated series-production Lamborghini at its launch. Collectors prize the SVJ for its raw, single-clutch gearbox character and its status as one of the final pure V12 flagships before hybridisation.

Lamborghini Aventador SVJ fun facts
- The 'J' in SVJ stands for Jota, a suffix reserved for Lamborghini's most high-performance models, referencing the FIA's Appendix J racing regulations.
- Its ALA 2.0 system uses internal flaps to stall the rear wing or front splitter in just 500 milliseconds, allowing for aero-vectoring during high-speed cornering.
- The SVJ features a unique top-mounted 'omega' exhaust system that reduces back pressure and saves weight compared to the standard Aventador S.
