About the Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita
The CCXR Trevita is one of the rarest and most technically complex models ever produced by Koenigsegg. Its name, meaning 'three whites' in Swedish, refers to the proprietary 'Diamond Weave' carbon-fibre finish that transforms traditional black fibres into a shimmering silvery-white. Originally intended for a three-car run, the extreme difficulty of manufacturing the diamond-coated material resulted in only two units being completed. Mechanically, it utilizes the CCXR's flex-fuel V8, producing over 1,000 hp on E85 ethanol, paired with a unique double carbon rear wing and carbon-ceramic brakes.

Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita fun facts
- The 'Trevita' finish is not paint; Koenigsegg developed a method to coat individual carbon fibres with a diamond-dust resin before weaving.
- Only two were ever built because the white carbon fibre was so difficult and time-consuming to produce that the third car was cancelled.
- One of the two units was famously owned by boxing champion Floyd Mayweather, who reportedly paid $4.8 million for it.
