About the Kia Ceed CD
The third-generation Kia Ceed (CD) marked a significant step forward for the brand, dropping the apostrophe from its name and adopting a more mature, European-inspired design. The GT-Line trim bridges the gap between the standard models and the full-fat GT, offering aggressive styling cues like the 'ice cube' LED daytime running lights and a sportier interior without the higher running costs. Powered by the 1.4-litre T-GDi engine, it provides a balanced driving experience with a focus on refinement and technology. It was designed and engineered in Frankfurt specifically to compete with established European rivals like the Volkswagen Golf and Ford Focus.
