About the Jensen Interceptor
The Jensen Interceptor Mk III represents the final and most refined evolution of the brand's iconic grand tourer. Combining a hand-built British chassis with a striking steel body designed by Carrozzeria Touring and a reliable Chrysler big-block V8, it offered effortless transcontinental performance. The 1972 model year was a transitional period where the 6.3-litre (383 ci) engine was phased out in favour of the 7.2-litre (440 ci) unit to combat tightening emissions regulations. Known for its distinctive 'fishbowl' wrap-around rear glass and luxurious Connolly leather interior, it remains a highly usable and charismatic choice for collectors.
