About the Hyundai Kona N OS

The Hyundai Kona N is a high-performance variant of the first-generation Kona, developed by Hyundai's N division to bridge the gap between a hot hatchback and a subcompact SUV. It features a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine shared with the i30 N, paired exclusively with a wet-type 8-speed dual-clutch transmission and an electronic limited-slip differential. Despite its raised ride height, the Kona N is tuned for the track, featuring reinforced chassis points, stiffened suspension, and a variable exhaust system. It was a short-lived enthusiast model, discontinued after only two model years as the Kona transitioned to its second generation.
