About the Ford Mustang Bullitt S197
Released to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the film Bullitt, this S197-generation special edition focuses on understated cool and mechanical refinement. It is distinguished by its Dark Highland Green paint, a badge-less mesh grille, and 18-inch 'Euro-flange' wheels, eschewing the typical Mustang spoilers and scoops. Beyond the aesthetics, Ford Racing provided a cold-air intake, a revised exhaust system tuned to mimic the movie car's growl, and a shorter 3.73:1 final drive for sharper acceleration. The interior features GT500-style seats and an engine-turned aluminium dash, creating a focused environment for what many consider the most authentic modern Bullitt tribute.
