About the Ford Model C

Introduced in late 1904, the Ford Model C was an evolution of the original Model A, featuring a longer wheelbase and a more modern appearance. While it featured a protruding front 'hood' in the European style, this was purely ornamental and housed the fuel tank; the two-cylinder engine remained mounted beneath the seat. It was the first Ford model to be manufactured in Canada, marking the brand's early international expansion. Collectors value the Model C as a rare bridge between Ford's experimental early years and the mass-production success of the later Model T.
