About the Fiat Coupé
The Fiat Coupé 20V Turbo was the performance pinnacle of the 'Type 175' range, famously styled by Chris Bangle with a striking, slash-cut exterior and a Pininfarina-designed interior featuring a body-coloured metal dashboard strip. At its launch, it was the fastest front-wheel-drive production car in the world, powered by a charismatic 2.0-litre five-cylinder engine that earned it the nickname 'the baby Ferrari'. It features a Viscodrive limited-slip differential to manage the torque and Brembo brakes for stopping power. Collectors prize the 20V Turbo for its unique engine note, avant-garde styling, and surprisingly modern pace.

Fiat Coupé fun facts
- The exterior was designed by Chris Bangle at Fiat Centro Stile, while the interior was handled by Pininfarina, who also assembled the cars in Turin.
- The 20V Turbo's five-cylinder engine was so potent that it could out-accelerate contemporary rivals like the Audi TT and Alfa Romeo GTV V6.
- The car's distinctive 'slashes' above the wheel arches were a controversial design choice that helped it stand out in a crowded 1990s sports car market.
