About the Fiat 132

Introduced in 1977 as part of the third series facelift, the 2000 Supermirafiori became Fiat's flagship following the demise of the 130. It featured the legendary Lampredi-designed twin-cam engine, offering a smooth and torque-rich delivery that made it a credible alternative to German executive saloons. The facelift brought distinctive plastic safety bumpers, a luxurious velour interior, and innovative acrylic sunvisors. While often overlooked in favour of the smaller 131, the 132 is remembered for its comfortable ride and role as the preferred transport for Italian officialdom.
