About the Ferrari 575M Maranello
The 575M Maranello arrived in 2002 as a 'Modificata' evolution of the 550, refining the front-engined V12 formula that had returned Ferrari to its GT roots. It introduced the first F1-style automated manual gearbox to a V12 Ferrari road car, alongside a larger 5.75-litre engine and adaptive 'Skyhook' suspension. While visually similar to its predecessor, the 575M featured a redesigned interior and improved aerodynamics to handle its 202 mph top speed. It remains a highly sought-after modern classic, particularly in rare gated manual form, representing the final era of Pininfarina-styled V12 grand tourers before the more aggressive 599 GTB.
