About the Ferrari 275 GTB
Introduced at the 1966 Paris Motor Show, the 275 GTB/4 was the final and most sophisticated evolution of the 275 series. It was the first production Ferrari to feature a dual overhead camshaft engine, a direct descendant of the P2 prototype racers, paired with six Weber carburettors and dry-sump lubrication. The Pininfarina-designed body, built by Scaglietti, is distinguished by a slim central bonnet bulge required to clear the new engine's air cleaners. With its rear-mounted transaxle and independent suspension, it remains one of the most balanced and celebrated grand tourers of the 1960s.
