About the DS Automobiles DS 3
The DS 3 was the first model to transition from the Citroën DS sub-brand to the standalone DS Automobiles marque in 2016. This 2017 model features the 'DS Wings' grille and updated LED lighting, distancing itself from its Citroën C3 roots while retaining its distinctive 'floating roof' and shark-fin B-pillar. The 1.2-litre PureTech engine is a highlight of the range, offering a characterful three-cylinder thrum and surprising mid-range punch for its size. As a collector's prospect, it is valued for its vast array of factory personalisation options, though it is primarily seen as a stylish, premium alternative to the Mini Hatch.
