About the DS Automobiles DS 5
The DS 5 marked a significant turning point for PSA, serving as the flagship model to launch DS Automobiles as a standalone premium brand in 2015. Distinguishable by its 'DS Wings' grille and the removal of Citroën double-chevrons, it remains one of the most avant-garde designs of its era, blending elements of a hatchback, estate, and coupé. The interior is famously aviation-themed, featuring a roof-mounted console and 'watch-strap' leather upholstery. While its ride was often criticised for being firm, the 180 PS BlueHDi diesel provided effortless cruising capability suited to its executive positioning.
