About the Dacia Solenza
The Dacia Solenza was a small liftback produced as a bridge between the ageing SupeRNova and the revolutionary Logan. It was the first Dacia to benefit significantly from Renault's takeover, featuring a Renault engine and gearbox that improved reliability and refinement. While it retained the basic platform of its predecessor, it introduced a more modern interior and better build quality. It was never officially sold in the UK or USA, remaining primarily a sight on Eastern European roads where it served as affordable, rugged transport.
