About the Chevrolet Orlando
The Chevrolet Orlando was a compact MPV designed to offer a more muscular, crossover-inspired alternative to traditional people carriers. Built on the GM Delta II platform shared with the Chevrolet Cruze and Vauxhall Zafira, it featured a distinctive boxy silhouette and standard seven-seat versatility. The 2.0-litre VCDi diesel engine provided the necessary torque for heavy family loads, though the ride was noted for being firmer than its rivals. While it offered significant value for money, it was withdrawn from the UK market in 2015 as Chevrolet scaled back its European operations.
