About the Chevrolet Colorado
The second-generation Chevrolet Colorado marked GM's 2015 return to the North American mid-size pickup segment after a three-year hiatus. Designed to offer better fuel economy and easier manoeuvrability than the full-size Silverado, it featured a fully boxed frame and a refined interior that significantly improved upon its predecessor. The 2.5-litre Ecotec engine served as the entry-level powertrain, targeting light-duty users and fleet buyers who prioritised efficiency over maximum towing capacity. It earned MotorTrend's 2015 Truck of the Year award for its balance of utility, modern technology, and daily drivability.
