About the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE
The ZL1 1LE represents the absolute zenith of the sixth-generation Camaro's performance, designed specifically to dominate road courses. It retains the LT4 supercharged V8 from the standard ZL1 but adds a sophisticated aero package including a carbon fibre rear wing and front dive planes. The defining feature is the Multimatic DSSV spool-valve suspension, which provides exceptional body control at the expense of a punishing ride on public roads. It famously lapped the Nürburgring Nordschleife in 7:16.04, making it one of the fastest front-engined production cars of its era.
