About the Cadillac Escalade-V
The Escalade-V is the first SUV to wear Cadillac's high-performance V-Series badge, marking a peak of American internal combustion excess. It features a hand-built 6.2-litre supercharged V8 shared with the CT5-V Blackwing, though equipped with a larger 2.65-litre TVS supercharger to overcome the vehicle's massive mass. Beyond the engine, it receives specially tuned Magnetic Ride Control 4.0, Air Ride Adaptive suspension, and six-piston Brembo front brakes. Despite weighing nearly three tonnes, it achieves sports-car acceleration while retaining the full luxury suite of the Platinum trim, including a 38-inch curved OLED dashboard and a 36-speaker AKG audio system.
