About the BYD Seal
The BYD Seal is a flagship electric saloon from the Chinese automotive giant, designed to compete directly with the Tesla Model 3 and BMW i4. Built on the e-Platform 3.0, it features 'Cell-to-Body' technology where the battery is integrated into the vehicle structure to improve rigidity and space efficiency. The Design trim provides a rear-wheel-drive setup with a focus on range and refinement, utilizing BYD's proprietary cobalt-free Blade Battery. While it offers a premium interior and competitive performance, its driving dynamics are tuned more for comfort than outright sportiness.
