About the BMW i5 G60
The G60-generation i5 marks the first time BMW's quintessential executive sedan has been offered with a fully electric powertrain. Built on the flexible CLAR platform, the eDrive40 serves as the entry point to the range, prioritising efficiency and traditional rear-wheel-drive dynamics over the raw power of the M60. It features the BMW Curved Display running iDrive 8.5 and introduces sustainable 'Veganza' vegan leather interiors. While heavier than its petrol-powered predecessors, the low-mounted 81.2 kWh battery maintains a balanced centre of gravity for composed handling.
