About the Bentley Continental T
Launched at the 1996 Geneva Motor Show, the Continental T was a more aggressive, short-wheelbase evolution of the Continental R. By lopping 102mm from the wheelbase and flaring the arches, Bentley created a 'hot rod' luxury coupe with a focus on driver engagement and massive low-end torque. It was the first Bentley since the 1950s to feature a push-button starter and an engine-turned aluminium dashboard, signalling its sporting intent. As one of the last truly hand-built cars from the Crewe factory before the Volkswagen era, it represents the pinnacle of the 'old-school' Bentley character, combining brutal power with unmatched craftsmanship.

- The interior featured a unique engine-turned aluminium dashboard finish, a departure from the traditional walnut wood found in the Continental R.
