About the Aston Martin Lagonda Taraf
The Lagonda Taraf was a ultra-exclusive flagship designed to revive the historic Lagonda marque as a rival to Rolls-Royce and Bentley. Based on a stretched version of Aston Martin's VH architecture shared with the Rapide, it features a bespoke carbon-fibre body inspired by the 1976 William Towns-designed Lagonda. Originally intended solely for the Middle Eastern market, availability was later expanded globally, though production ended far short of the initial 200-unit goal. It offers a unique blend of Aston Martin's sporting V12 character with a hand-crafted, limousine-grade interior, though it was often criticised for its immense launch price.
