About the Aston Martin V12 Vantage S
The V12 Vantage S arrived in 2013 as the fastest series-production Aston Martin ever, second only to the One-77 hypercar. It replaced the original V12 Vantage, introducing the uprated AM28 engine and a new 7-speed Sportshift III automated manual gearbox that saved 25kg. Visually distinguished by its carbon fibre grille and distinctive hood louvres, the 'S' also debuted three-stage adaptive damping to the Vantage range. It remains a high-water mark for the VH-platform cars, celebrated for its raw, naturally aspirated character and immense power-to-weight ratio.
