About the Aston Martin Cygnet
The Cygnet remains one of the most controversial chapters in Aston Martin history, born primarily to help the brand meet strict EU fleet-average CO2 emissions regulations. While based on the Toyota iQ, each car was shipped to Gaydon for a total transformation, receiving a hand-stitched leather interior and bespoke body panels painted alongside the One-77. Despite its humble mechanicals, the craftsmanship is pure Aston Martin, featuring the same hides and finishes found in a DBS. Originally a sales failure with fewer than 800 units built, it has since gained cult status as a rare, reliable, and highly collectable urban curiosity.
